Meet the Owners of the Omstead
Owner and Manager Laura Haddad established The Omstead in 2023 with the vision of addressing the significant need for relaxation and stress relief within the community. As an experienced yogi and animal enthusiast, Laura recognized her potential to assist others in finding moments of joy and tranquility.
With the support of her husband Joe, they launched the area's first mobile yoga studio. Through collaborations with local businesses, schools, and farms, they are committed to offering slow flow, restorative yoga, and goat yoga classes to a wide audience. Their aim is to create a welcoming environment for individuals seeking respite from work-related burnout, anxiety, depression, and societal pressures.
Laura and Joe reside in Glastonbury, CT, along with their two dogs, three cats, and six goats.
